Hey guys, so it's been a long time since the last tutorial and I really want to make more of this but yeah, the feedbacks and everything are amazing like thank you everyone for everything. And I'm so happy that we can do it. Yeah, so I'm this is a sound design session. The current version of Stride that I'm working on is not released yet. I really hope to release it in the next few days.
You may see some changes here. I hope to go through all the new adjustments and everything like I'm we're keeping it improving it from day to day and it becomes like the awesome tool ever for sound design. So yeah, it is what it is and I'll hope to get through all the adjustments here in this video. It's mostly for sound design but yeah, just if you have any questions or whatever just feel free to ask.
Feature requests, help, any feedbacks, everything like is more than welcome. And yeah, so let's just dive into it. I added a button where you can stick Stride to your to your side of the screen or to the bottom of the screen which is really useful if you work on one screen and you want to see everything in one place and you see that I switch between the name of the parameters and the name of the device.
So the name of the parameter is bigger. And it's more useful. Yeah, you can pick a few lanes and color them in the same in the same color if you want. And yeah. So this is this is the this is the patch. As you can see, I'm switching between the motion buttons without touching them. If you know like in contact and this kind of stuff where you can use your meeting MIDI keyboards to control the expression.
So, here I've also routed it so from you have a single octave that when you press one of the notes, it triggers any of the motion button or the mutate button or the shuffle button. So, it's really useful. You can just have the most like you can you can you don't need to touch the UI of Strum at all. Yeah, so what's in this patch? Let's see. Not so much. There is this sine wave. Let me stop it. So, there is a sine wave with FM to B up four octaves.
The oscillator B you have the OD and distortion. And not so much like the EQ is boosting in two frequencies which are all also modulated all the way. We have some convolution and we have a nice delay which is also modulated frequency, the queue, and the feedback. And it's on the millisecond mode. Yeah, so I'm just generating a bunch of variations from it. Let's record it.
Sorry, I was on this close. Yeah, that was better. Let's take it here. Oh, yeah. And after that, I have a little OTT with these parameters a little bit adjusted. And I have a saturator on wave shaper and a clipper after it. Yeah, so this nice is cool because it's for a lot of genres. It's half neuro bass, half psychedelic. It's very useful. And let's play with it a little bit more and turn off this delay.
You can play with the color of the convolution. I want to give it some more color. It's at some unison to the oscillator B. See, I'm switching with the type of the warping all the time. We have this flanger movement also. Let's add another filter. See, I'm always in the background changing the curves of the parameters. So versatile. Let's map also the detune of the of the voices.
I love it. I don't have my LCD all these LCD earphones because the cable was totally ruined. So, I'm with the other earphones, but I'm not used to it. Let's adjust the cut off a little bit of filter one, so it's not so going so low with the flange. Much better. Okay, so this is this is our nice some nice output outputs here. As you can see I also mapped a few macros here to the arp and it's mapped to the rate and to the shift and to the range.
So, let's see what we can what can up what we can come up with this one. I of course I'm saving all the outputs and let's put some note here for the arpeggiator. And turn it on and see what we can up with come up with and we of course keep playing with all the with all the parameters as well. Okay, now this is too low.
Nice. Yes. Okay, I think it's enough content. I'll try to make up some nice loop or beat with it. Yeah. Guys, if you have any questions, anything, I'm always available. Go great Go make great music. Go make great sound design sessions. Keep your outputs. Use them later. And let me know your thoughts. Have a good one.
