One Sine Wave into Full Spectrum Sound Design

Yo, welcome to another sound design session. And yeah, today we're going to use Stride a little bit differently. We're going to modulate. We're going to play with the knob while the on the manual mode of the BPM of Stride. So, we can control all the lanes speed, how fast they running. And with that, we're going to achieve so many different kind of stuff. Also the rate of the arpeggiator is routed and mapped to my MIDI keyboard and also on the gate of it and the BPM of Stride.

So what we have here a really simple Serum patch I have a sine wave with FM and I have I'm using I'm switching between the digital waveforms. So it every time gets different characterist character and soft saturator on the oscillator B and basically that's all in Serum. And here I have wave shifter which is really nice tool. It's also a frequency shifter, also a distortion and an FM allin-one. Really, really cool device. And all their parameters, all its parameters are modulated and mapped into Stride.

As you can see, in Serum there is not much. Only these three knobs. That's it. I'm playing with the octaves like when I want to switch to get more colors. But yeah, so it's really simple. And you can notice how I'm going to modulate the BPM of Stride. Oh, sorry. You I think you cannot see it because yeah, you cannot see it right now in Stride because I have the spectral analyzer.

But as you can see here, if you can see in the Stride device, I can move the BPM of it. And as you know default mode is sync to project and manual mode is how fast you want the lane to run without considering the project your BPM's project. So yeah, let's just record
